When I was diagnosed with Diabetes, my doctor recommended I join MedicAlert. For guys this is not always so easy but I decided my life was more important than my ego. Its just part of my life now, I don't even really think about it that much. My Emblem lives around my neck, its always there and everyone knows what its for. I guess I would feel uncomfortable not having my MedicAlert on, Its not really worth the risk.
Who knows when something will happen to you and who will be there to come to your rescue. When I go to the beach there is not going to be an ambulance waiting for me just in case. MedicAlert is great and people know to help when they see you have it.
