In 1988 I was taken by ambulance to Wellington public hospital, in an unconscious state. Because I was wearing my MedicAlert bracelet, accident and emergency ward staff were able to treat my medical condition. At the time, there was no way I could communicate with the nursing staff.
This is no doubt just one of many instances where a MedicAlert bracelet enables people such as myself to receive emergency treatment. I will always be grateful to your foundation.
